Serena Williams

Second eldest among ten siblings, Serena is no stranger to community! Serena graduated from Greensboro College with a music major and finds much of her spiritual underpinnings in song and work with youth. Steeped largely in Baptist tradition, Serena says the timing of life events and hearing about The Friendship Table was a clear call for accepting this adventure to broaden and deepen her faith.

When you see Chris, you’re going to see (or hear about!) his beautiful daughters. Continuously seeking to grow in faith, fellowship and service while sharing a table with all fellow seekers, Chris says he was drawn to The Friendship Table and St. Mary’s by the simple kindness, compassion and welcome he encountered along the way — and because service and prayer are in his DNA. Chris was born and raised here in High Point.
