An intentional community OF YOUNG ADULTS committed to a year of Christian prayer, formation, and service
in HIgh point, north carolina.
Our vision is a bigger table, The Friendship Table, with room for everyone. Our path has led us to foster an ecumenical community immersed in prayer, learning, reflection, hospitality and hands-on work for justice and equity, particularly as they relate to food insecurity and access. The Episcopal diocese and St. Mary’s Church, specifically, nourish this endeavor in prayer and substance.
Applications to our 2025-26 Cohort are now being accepted. This opportunity, grounded in the tenets of “the new monasticism,” is open to individuals from any denomination or tradition who are interested in exploring a life of Christian faith more deeply. We are committed to providing an inwardly formative experience for young adults and an outwardly transformative movement in the world. Through nurturing a rhythm of prayer, study, reflection, communal engagement and labor, we hope to seek and serve Christ in companionship with all God’s children in the community of High Point and beyond.
